Thrush Treatment Instructions
FINISHED! When you set the foot back on the ground, a small portion of the gauze should be visible along the back of the foot between the heel bulbs. Since the gauze will gradually elute medication over time, no further treatment is necessary as long as the gauze remains in place. When the gauze "falls out" on its own, inspect the defect to determine if another treatment is warranted. Each piece of gauze can remain in place for up to a week or more. Most cases of thrush will resolve following 1 or 2 consecutive treatments.
